Christmas Pajamas

So I finally finished making the kids Christmas pajamas. It took me about two weeks. It's hard to find the free time. I would usually stay up late after the kids were in bed. I know their not perfect but not bad for my first attempt. Maybe next time I will make matching tops to go with the pants.

Temple Lights

The lights were so pretty this year. We didn't go last year so it was Ellie's first time to see them. The boys pointed out to me that you can see a perfect reflection of the Temple in the water. I never noticed that before. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry.

Fishing with Dad

On Saturday Sam took the boy's fishing. The boys were so excited. No Girls Allowed. Sam packed a cooler full of snacks and Root Beer for them ( At our house soda is a treat. So they were pretty happy about it.) and off they went. They had so much fun. Even though they didn't catch anything. They climbed trees and brought home a water dog. (some type of plant) They don't get to do this very often. It was good for them to have some Dad time.

The Past Few Weeks

This month seemed to go by so fast. I have been horrible about keeping up with my blog. Sometimes it's hard to find the time. So here are a few things that have happened. Sam and I celebrated our 8Th anniversary. Can you believe it. Where did the time go. 8 years and 3 kids later. I am so grateful for Sam. He is a wonderful husband and father. He works so hard to take care of our family. I Love You Hun. Then Sam's brother Ben went through the Temple and was sealed to his new wife. She is very sweet. Afterwards we had a mini reception at our house for the family. Then on Thanksgiving My brother, sister and myself ran the Turkey Trot. I beat my personal record. My sister did really well she got 2ND in her age group. My brother did awesome it was his first year to run. Later that day we went and ate dinner with Sam's family. We had so much fun. The kids love playing with their cousins. In the evening we went over to gram pas house for some more dessert. I ate way to much pie this year. I guess I'll be running extra this week. Here are some pics from Thanksgiving.

Hangin with the boys.
Daddies Girl

My boys thought this was so fun. They would get in this tiny wagon and go down the slide. They had us all laughing. It makes you wish you were little again.
Her cousin made this turkey hat for her.
He loves to swing on this rope swing.
I wish we had one at our house.

Halloween

Our family had a fun Halloween. We went to our Ward Chili cook off and Trunk or Treat. Then we went and visited the Gramas and Grampas. I thought the kids were so cute in their costumes. Dallas was Indiana Jones, Gage was Harry Potter and Little Ellie was a cute Bumble Bee.

Carving The Pumpkins

I meant to post these pics sooner but life's been a little busy. We carved pumpkins for family night. The boys had so much fun cleaning out the pumpkins.

Ellie helped her daddy design the pumpkin face.

Sam and I carving the face. Sam did most of the work.

Dallas carved his first pumpkin by himself.
Mom helped a little. He was so proud of himself.

Our finished pumpkins. The big one is a skull.

My Birthday

A few days ago I celebrated my 27th Birthday. Where does the time go. In the afternoon my mom came and helped clean my house and get me caught up on my laundry. It was so sweet of her I really appreciated it. The boys even helped. Then that evening she watched the kids so Sam and I could go out. Sam gave me roses and a few presents and then took me out to my favorite restaurant Tia Rosa's. I always get the shrimp tacos, they are so good. Then we went and rented Iron Man and watched it at home. I had been wanting to see it for awhile. The next day Sam's mom came and watched the kids while I went and got a pedicure that she had bought for me. It was so nice. My toes look very pretty. Later that evening we had cake with our family. My mom bought a cake from Cold Stones it was Delicious. Thanks to everyone for such a great Birthday.

I Love Flowers!

Sorry, my feet are not very cute but my toes
look pretty.

Things We Did this Past Month

We celebrated Gages' 5th Birthday. I can't believe how big he is now. Time goes by so fast. These are a few pictures from his Birthday.

This video is of our family singing to Gage. Sorry for the horrible singing I never was much of a singer. I just thought it was cute because he kept smiling the whole time. He thought I was going to take his picture.

We also went to Tempe Beach park the kids had so much fun. It was Ellies first time to go and she loved it. I took these picture of the boys going down the slide. I think Gage looks like he is surfing. Every time the boys would go down the slide they would land on their backs. The picture of Dallas is right before he landed on his back.

After we were done swimming we went and walked around the park. They had a display of flags for those who died on 9/11. The pictures I took only show a section of them. The boys were very interested and asked me to read some of the name tags on the flags.
